Dirty Turf LLC

Privacy policy

This policy explains what the Dirty Turf Academy website and mobile apps collect, why it is needed, and the choices available to Academy members and turf cleaning operators.

Effective September 18, 2026

Information we handle

  • Account details such as name, email address, role, Academy membership, and sign-in activity.
  • Course progress, event responses, community posts, comments, reactions, bookmarks, and member profile details.
  • Field records you choose to save, including measurements, service rates, calculations, property labels, visit history, and photos.
  • Payment and subscription status. Card details are entered directly on Stripe-hosted pages and are not stored by Dirty Turf Academy.
  • Technical information needed for security and reliability, such as device type, app version, IP address, request logs, and error details.

Camera and location

Camera, photo-library, and location access are requested only when you use a measurement, map, or job-photo feature. Live camera measurement uses device AR capabilities to place points in physical space. Map measurement uses your chosen location or searched address to position the map.

You can deny these permissions and continue using course, community, event, and manual-calculation features. The app does not continuously track location.

How information is used

  • Authenticate existing members and enforce company and Academy access.
  • Deliver courses, preserve progress, operate the member community, and run events.
  • Save and synchronize turf measurements and calculations across authorized devices.
  • Process web purchases, manage subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
No ad-tracking SDKThe current app does not sell personal information or include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Service providers

Dirty Turf uses vendors only to operate the service: Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions; Netlify for web hosting; Mailgun for transactional email; Stripe for web payments; Apple and Google for mobile distribution; and map imagery or search providers selected inside the measurement tool.

GoHighLevel remains a controlled source and rollback archive during migration. Imported records retain source identifiers so content and member access can be reconciled without fabricating activity.

Access and sharing

Company field records are visible only to authorized members of that company workspace. Academy content and community records are available only to members with an active access grant. Administrators and service providers may access data when needed to operate, secure, support, or comply with law.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained while the account or company workspace is active and as needed for security, support, legal, billing, and backup obligations. A member can start an account-deletion request from Settings in the app or follow the public instructions on the deletion page.

Before deleting an organization owner, shared company records may need to be transferred to another authorized owner. Financial records and limited security logs may be retained where legally required. Data in backups expires according to provider retention schedules.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal account information. You can also revoke camera, photos, and location permissions in device settings. Revoking a permission disables only the feature that needs it.
